Kevin is the Head of Knight Frank Investment Management and has over 25 years’ experience in the UK real estate market. Before joining the business,
he spent 11 years at ING Real Estate Investment Management (ING REIM), culminating in his appointment as CEO of the UK business in October 2008.
During his time at ING he had extensive experience of the portfolio and fund management of both the segregated funds and collective investment scheme,
acting on behalf of a variety of UK and overseas institutional clients. As CEO he took responsibility for the re-structuring of the ING REIM UK business,
creating an enhanced focus on client service and performance.
Kevin is a member of the Investment Property Forum and also sits on the Management Committee of the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF). In his spare time he is
Chairman to the Trustees of Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby, the only contact sport for people with both upper and lower limb disabilities.

Ian has a broad range of experience having worked in the industry for almost 30 years.
This included 24 years at ING Real Estate Investment Management (ING REIM) where he was a
Managing Director holding the post of Chief Investment Officer, Chairman of the Investment
Committee and was a Trustee on the firm’s pension fund. At ING he held a prominent role in
setting strategy and business development. He regularly presents and writes on property investment
outlook and strategy.

Head of Fund Management
John Styles has over 20 years’ experience in the UK real estate investment market and has overall responsibility for the investment management of KFIM’s separate account mandates. His experience covers the full range of investment management activities including acquisitions, disposals and active management of investment properties, as well as the funding of development schemes across all UK sectors. He has also been active in the indirect investment market, working with clients to set up new real estate funds and acquiring indirect interests.
His clients have included major UK pension funds such as Lancashire County Pension Fund, Luri 5 UK Property Fund (Banco Santander), BBC Pension Trust, John Lewis Partnership Pension Trust and HBOS Final Salary Pension Scheme. John is FSA registered and a Member of the Investment Property Forum.

Matthew joined KFIM as a Partner in March 2015 with over 15 years’ experience in client-side UK commercial property investment. Matthew has held positions at Dorrington Properties Plc., ING Real Estate Investment Management and most recently as a Director at CBRE Global investors where he was the Fund Manager of the CBRE UK Property Fund: a GBP 600m UK Pooled Fund with an out-performance track record over one, three and five years. Matthew is an FCA Authorised person and is a Member of the IPF and Association of Real Estate Funds

David joined KFIM early in 2014 with over 25 years’ experience in the financial sector within the UK and Europe. David has a Masters in Secure e-commerce, gained at the Royal Holloway University of London and expertise in Compliance, Anti Money Laundering, Operational Risk and Information Security, which he has applied within BACS, Barclays Investment Management, International Financial Data Services, ING Real Estate Investment Management and Coutts Investment Office. David is authorised by the FCA as CFIO (Compliance Oversight) and CFII (Money Laundering Reporting Officer).

Charlotte Tolfree is a research analyst with 10 years of experience in Real Estate Investment Management. After graduating from Reading University with a degree in Economics, and a Masters in Real Estate Investment and Finance, Charlotte spent two years working in a private consultancy for Professor Andrew Baum, a leading academic on property research. Charlotte later joined ING Real Estate’s UK research team where she worked with both Kevin and Ian, joining them at KFIM in early 2014 from CBRE Global Investors. Charlotte is responsible for all research activities, across all sectors and geographies with oversight from Chief Investment Officer, Ian Whittock.

Matthew has extensive experience in commercial valuations for Banks, balance sheet and unit
pricing purposes in Central London, covering the City, West End, Mid-Town and Victoria office
markets. In addition, he specialises in the valuation of Business Parks UK wide.
He has particular responsibility for the valuation of assets in these locations for major investors
including Land Securities, BlackRock and ABPP.
He leads the £350m valuation of Rockspring Hanover Property Unit Trust, a provincially based fund.

Sir Paul Clarke was CEO of the Duchy of Lancaster until 2013 and is now a Non-Exec Director and business mentor.
Sir Paul started his career at The Grosvenor Estate in 1973 and has since assumed various senior
executive positions including being the Property Investment Manager at The Wellcome Trust, Chief
Executive to The Duchy of Lancaster, Vice Chairman of Northbank BID and the Chairman of an Advisory
Panel at CBRE Global Investors. Sir Paul is also a member of the Property Advisory Group at Oxford
University Endowment Management, a non-executive director of Berkshire Investment Capital and a Trustee
of the Addington Fund.
As the Independent Member of the KFIM Investment Committee, Sir Paul provides a check and balance in
relation to major transactions and governance.
Michael joined Knight Frank in 2010 and provides portfolio valuations for a wide range of institutional investors and property companies, as well as secured lending valuations on behalf of various banks. Michael has over 17 years of experience covering all commercial property sectors and currently specialises in the valuation of South East and regional offices. Major clients include Aviva Investors, CBRE Global Investors, Mayfair Capital, Legal & General, Orchard Street and the Duchy of Lancaster.

James joined Knight Frank in 2007 as head of Central London Research, following two years at DTZ and six years at CB Richard Ellis. Prior to this he worked as a researcher in a management consultancy.
James manages a three person team providing data, reports, analysis and forecasts on the Central London office occupier and investment market. He also works on consultancy projects handling bespoke issues, and placing London in the context of the global economy.
As well as analysing and forecasting the City, West End and Docklands office markets, James has provided tenant targeting research on a number of large development projects seeking prelet transactions.
